WASC resources: other West African countries

WASC's main focus is upon West African countries which have at some time been administered by the UK, as colonies or protectorates. However, particularly when dealing with air and sea routes, or with shared administrations, WASC members take an interest in other West African nations, particularly 'Francophone' nations such as Senegal, which completely surrounds The Gambia, or Cameroun which evolved from territories under British and French mandate.

From time to time Cameo includes articles on such countries, but they are also catered for by their own philatelic societies such as the France and Colonies Philatelic Society and the Liberian Philatelic Society.
